What is CBD?

CBD is short for Cannabidiol and is one of the active compounds found in the Cannabis Plant. It is becoming known for its potential health benefits, including support with anxiety and stress, difficulty with sleep and relaxation, and chronic pain. CBD however, differs from Marijuana in that it is manufactured from the plant without the THC component, meaning that it does not produce the high typically experienced from Cannabis, and is therefore legal in the UK. Suggested Dosage of CBD

The Food Standards Agency advises not exceeding a daily dosage of 70mg, unless otherwise advised by your Healthcare Provider. It is not unknown for different individuals of a similar weight even, to react differently to the same dose of CBD. It is easy to change the dose of a CBD patch if you wish, by cutting the patch in half or even into quarters if required.
